Close Up is an eau de parfum inspired by close-up photography, where you zoom in on small details until they feel alive and almost physically tangible. The character blends warm amber with a fresh edge, together with anise and green coffee. Photographer Suren Manvelyan, known for his macro images of the human eye, is the source of inspiration. The fragrance launched in 2016 and was created by perfumer Annick Menardo.

The fragrance opens with cherry, spices and coffee. At the heart are white tobacco, patchouli, Atlas cedarwood and rose, and it settles into a base of tonka bean, amber and musk.

Close Up is a warm, sweet fragrance for those who like cherry and coffee in an ambery, spicy composition.

Olfactive Studio is a Parisian niche perfume house launched in 2011 by perfume creator Céline Verleure. The concept is that perfumers draw inspiration from contemporary art photography and try to capture the feeling of a photograph in fragrance. The house makes eaux de parfum and extraits de parfum.
