Cacao Aztèque from Perris Monte Carlo is inspired by a visit to the Aztec pyramids at Teotihuacan and tries to recreate xocolatl, the spicy, stimulating cacao drink that, according to the brand, only the Aztec kings drank. The fragrance blends cacao with spices and rum, with earthy, desert-like tones and a dense, liqueur-like feel. It launched in 2017 and was created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin.

The fragrance opens with black pepper, cardamom and pink pepper. At the heart are tuberose, rum, pittosporum and orchid, and it settles into a base of cacao husk, sandalwood and musk.

Cacao Aztèque is a warm, spicy and slightly sweet fragrance for those who want a cacao scent with rum and white flowers.
