Gurjun balsam

Gurjun balsam smells woody and balsamic, with a soft sweetness, a hint of spice and a light smokiness, somewhat reminiscent of cedarwood and patchouli. It is used in the base as a fixative and to add woody fullness, often alongside patchouli, cedarwood and amber.
