Peru balsam

Peru balsam is rich and sweet, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of clove wrapped in soft balsamic warmth. It belongs in the base, where it gives fullness to oriental and gourmand compositions, often alongside benzoin, amber and tonka.
